The Niger Delta Avengers, a group that has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on oil and gas installations across the Niger Delta, says it is ready to engage the Nigerian government in dialogue.
But the group has given stringent conditions for any talks.
It is the first time the group has shown any interest discussing with the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Muhammad Ali, the silver-tongued boxer and civil rights
champion who famously proclaimed himself "The Greatest" and then spent a lifetime living up to the billing, is dead. Ali  died Friday at a Phoenix-area hospital, where he had spent  the past few days being treated for respiratory complications, a family spokesman confirmed .

Nigeria Police: 338,227 Shortlisted For 10,000 Police Jobs

338,227 applicants have been shortlisted electronically from 911,438 that applied for the advertised 10,000 police jobs.

The chairman of the police services commission, Mike Okiro, who announced the shortlist, said the second phase of the recruitment will be done in state commands.

Nigeria lost as Samson Siasia led Nigeria U-23 lose 0-1 to S.Korea At Suwon Tourney

South Korea, hosts of the 2016 Suwon Invitational Tournament defeated Nigeria U-23s team led by Samson Siasia 1-0 in the opening game of the Tournament today.

The game's only goal was scored by South Korea's Choi Kyubaek towards the end of the match and despite all attempts by the Dream team to equalize, their efforts fell short.

Siasia’s boys were hoping to secure a valuable win against the Red Devils as they prepare for the Rio 2016 Olympics and the result was shocking as the Dream team have not lost any competitive match since the 2015 All African Games where they lost 3-1 to Burkina Faso in the semi-final.
