The players are expected to report to Belgium, latest by October 5, for the matches slated for the 8th and 11th, against Congo and Cameroon respectively.
Oliseh had tried to make contact with Mikel before his first two matches but the Chelsea midfielder was incommunicado until the eve of the match against Tanzania while Enyeama did not report to camp because of the death of his mother.
The NFF said on its official website that the friendlies were structured to build a bond between the players. The football house said it has activated, “its plan to entrench stronger bond and cohesion among the relatively new group, through several friendly matches”.
Some players used in Oliseh’s first two matches like Solomon Kwambe, Kingsley Madu, Lukman Haruna, Izunna Uzochukwu have been left out for the time.
Also making a comeback is Monaco’s left-sided defender, Elderson Echiejile, who is enjoying more playing time at the club since Layvin Kurzawa was sold to PSG and Watford’s top scorer, Odion Ighalo.
The Eagles will face the winner between Swaziland and Djibouti in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on November 9 with the second leg on November 17.
