UPSET SUPER EAGLES

After holding Sunday Oliseh’s men in Lobamba, the visitors are keen to
shock the Eagles before their home fans on Tuesday
Nigeria will be looking to seal a place in the next round of the 2018 Fifa
World Cup qualifier when they entertain Swaziland on Tuesday.
The three-time African champion survived a colossal scare in the first leg
on Friday after putting up a lackluster display in Lobamba with the King’s
Shield lacking experience to pull the trigger when it mattered most.
Sunday Oliseh is like going to ring some changes as he expects a more
dominant display from his men else they kiss the 2018 Fifa World Cup
ticket goodbye.
For coach Harris Bulunga, his ambition in Port Harcourt is to upstage the
Eagles and qualify for the next round. And to achieve this, he feels his
team would be audacious to score against the star-studded Nigerians.
“Obviously, Nigeria will come out hard on us and the Eagles will want to
impress in front of their home fans. But we’ll be patient to play our game.
Everybody knows that we are not professionals, but we’ll play good game,”
Bulunga said.
“We’ll also be mindful of the threats pose by Musa and Ighalo who are
dangerous players and more importantly, Martins who plays in America; he
is a deadly player in front of goal. We always watched him how he scored
goals for his MLS club.
“The plan is not to stop these players individually, but we plan to stop the
whole team.
“There are no more minnows in football again. We’ll go all out to score in
this match, unlike what happened in the first leg. We need to score this
time around. We’ll be adventurous because we’ve surprise in stock for the
Super Eagles,” he concluded.
Swaziland who are ranked no. 130 in the world according to Fifa have not
qualified for a major tournament since their first international game against
Malawi on May 1, 1968. They defeated Djibouti 8-1 on aggregate to reach
this round.
